These terms apply when you use silkcrowns.com or buy from it. The site is operated by The Birch Post LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110 ("Silk Crowns", "we"). Email: support@silkcrowns.com.
1. Who can order
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. Orders ship to US addresses only.
2. How an order becomes a contract
- You place an order and receive an order confirmation email. That email is a receipt, not an acceptance.
- We accept the order when it goes to print. Until then, either of us can cancel: you by email, we by refunding you in full.
- We may refuse or cancel an order for suspected fraud, a pricing error, or an address we cannot ship to. You get a full refund in every case.
3. Prices and errors
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax and shipping, which are shown before you pay. If a price on the site is wrong, we email you before printing and you choose between the correct price and a full refund.
4. Payment
You are charged when you place the order. Payment is processed by third-party payment providers that maintain PCI DSS compliance; we do not store your card number. See the Payment Policy.
5. Shipping, returns, and cancellations
The Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds policy are part of these terms. In short: 3–5 business days to print, 8–12 business days in transit, $7.95 shipping under $60 and free from $60, and 30 days to return or exchange with a prepaid label and no restocking fee.
6. Products and accuracy
- Each item is printed to order from the artwork shown on the product page.
- Colors can differ slightly between your screen and the printed fabric.
- On the blankets, the print is on one side. The back is plain white.
- Sizes are nominal. Finished blankets can vary by about 1 inch (2.5 cm).
- Product photos are print-partner mockups of the actual artwork on the actual blank. They are not photographs of individual finished items.
7. Intellectual property
The crest artwork, the Silk Crowns name, and the crown mark belong to The Birch Post LLC. You may not reproduce them, print them on other products, or use them commercially. You may photograph and share your own blanket freely.
8. Reviews and testimonials
If we display customer reviews, they come from customers who bought the product. We do not buy reviews, write them ourselves, or suppress negative ones, in line with the FTC rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465). We do not currently display reviews.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the site to place fraudulent orders, scrape content, or interfere with its operation.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Beyond the promises in these terms and the policies linked above, the site and products are provided "as is" to the extent state law allows. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some states do not allow these limitations. Nothing here limits rights you have under your state's consumer protection laws, or the authority of the Federal Trade Commission or your state Attorney General.
11. Disputes
- Email support@silkcrowns.com first. Most problems are solved with a replacement or refund within 2 business days.
- If that fails, you may bring a claim in small claims court where you live, or in the state or federal courts of New Mexico.
- These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence gives you protections that cannot be waived.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page on the day you order. We do not change terms retroactively.
